Duchess potatoes

This rich potato dish looks very fancy but is extremely easy to make. Check it out.

  • Soft cooking potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • Mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • KNORR chicken cubes, crumbled
  • Margarine or butter
  • Peri peri spice
  • 3 egg yolks

Preparation Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  • Place the cubed potatoes in a pot of cold water, place on the stove, bring to the boil and boil until soft
  • Drain and return to the pot
  • Add the mayonnaise, butter, 1 clove garlic, chopped, peri peri spice and crumbled KNORR cubes. Mash
  • Mix with an electric beater until smooth
  • Stir in the egg yolk and mix well
  • Place in a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle
  • Pipe rosettes onto a greased, lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until golden
  • Serve as a side
