This Indian favourite will make you fall in love! Enjoy alone or with a dipping sauce of your choice.

Ingredients

  • Oil for frying
  • Poppy seeds
  • Fresh thyme chopped
  • Crushed chilli flakes
  • KNORR chicken cubes, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Flour
  • Plain yoghurt
  • Instant yeast
  • Warm water

Preparation Method

  • Place the flour and all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well
  • Mix the yoghurt and warm water together
  • Add to the flour mix and mix well
  • Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 8 – 10 minutes
  • Place in an oiled bowl and leave in a warm place to rise and double in size
  • Knock back and divide into 6 pieces
  • Roll out into a flat oblong bread
  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Fry the bread 2 minutes each side
