Pan roasted chill and herb chicken

Seared to perfection and super tasty. This chilli and herb chicken will get your taste buds tingling.

  • Margarine
  • KNORR chicken cubes, crumbled
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Coarse black pepper
  • Crushed chilli flakes
  • Dried herbs
  • 1 whole chicken portioned

Preparation Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees or prepare a braai fire
  • In a bowl, mix the softened margarine with all the spices
  • Portion the chicken
  • Loosen the skin and push seasoned margarine under the skin
  • Place the chicken pieces on some tin foil
  • Arrange the extra flavoured margarine on top
  • Close and seal the foil well
  • Bake for an hour in the oven or on the braai
  • Serve with chips or salad
