Peri peri prawns

Peri Peri could hardly taste better for lunch or dinner. Keep this handy for when you want to whip up a surprise.

  • KNORR beef stock
  • Ground black pepper
  • Tomato puree
  • 2 green chillies
  • Ground cayenne
  • Ground paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Vegetable oil
  • Water
  • Prawns, deveined, head on
  • Butter
  • 1 lemon
  • Cream
  • 4 spring onions chopped

Preparation Method

  • Mix the KNORR cubes, garlic, herbs and spices and oil in a bowl.
  • Add the prawns and mix well. Leave to marinate for 6 hours in the fridge
  • Heat the butter in a pan and add the prawns and marinade and cook until the prawns are pink
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and cream just before serving
  • Serve with rice and chopped spring onions
